Now we are in need of a Volunteer Chore Helper:
HOPE Ranch is a Mental Health practice where horses and other animals partner with an LICSW or other mental health practitioner and an equine specialist to provide Animal Assisted psychotherapy to children, youth, families and adults. We are seeking enthusiastic, hardworking, mature and dedicated volunteers to assist with day to day operations and upkeep with our herd. We currently have 6 horses that require feeding 2 times per day, clean up and maintenance of stalls and pastures.
Chore helper duties include:
-Assisting with maintenance of fencing, pastures, and outbuildings, all facilities.
-Assistance with hand walking horses for needed exercise.
-Assistance with cleaning and care of the horses’ tack.
-Grooming the horses.
Available shifts are: Sunday through Saturday mornings and Monday evenings.
Length of shifts above are only for twice daily feeding, cleaning, grooming, and exercising.
Longer shifts available for those able and willing to assist with facility and equipment maintenance.
